General Info

Curry Point Bell Park By Bezawada Babu sits in a central Geelong location on Malop Street, making it an easy stop for both locals and visitors moving through the Bell Park area. The setting feels practical and straightforward, with a focus on accessibility and everyday dining comfort rather than overly formal styling. Being positioned in a busy urban pocket also means it naturally attracts people looking for a convenient restaurant option close to nearby shops, offices, and city activity.

From a diner’s point of view, one of the noticeable strengths here is how the space is structured around simple, functional needs. The availability of a restroom adds comfort for longer meals, especially for families or groups planning to sit down and relax rather than grab a quick bite. The family-friendly atmosphere also shapes the overall dining experience, making it suitable for casual dinners where different age groups can feel at ease without unnecessary formality. The general layout and service style align with a typical neighborhood restaurant where the focus stays on practicality and ease of access.

For those planning a visit, dinner reservations are recommended, especially during peak evening hours when demand tends to be higher. This helps avoid waiting time and ensures a smoother experience when the restaurant is busiest. Parking is another key factor in this area, and both a paid parking garage and a paid parking lot are available nearby, which adds convenience for guests arriving by car. This makes the location more manageable, even during busy city periods when street parking can be limited.

In terms of food experience, the restaurant is associated with a standard restaurant-style menu that fits within everyday dining expectations. While specific dishes may vary depending on availability and daily preparation, the overall focus remains on accessible menu options that suit casual meals and group dining. Reviews of similar local dining spots in the area often highlight the importance of consistency, portion comfort, and a relaxed setting, and this location aligns with that general expectation of a community-focused restaurant.

Overall, the experience is shaped by practicality, location convenience, and a straightforward approach to dining that fits well into Geelong’s casual food scene, where accessibility and ease often matter just as much as the meal itself.

What customers say?

“ If you are craving authentic Bezawada-style biryani, look no further than Curry Guru by Bezawada Babu in Geelong. One of the greatest biryanis we have ever had! The owner personally prepared the Bezawada Special Vijaya Durga Biryani, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The flavours were rich, perfectly spiced, and beautifully balanced, every bite took me straight back to the authentic taste of Bezawada. What truly stood out was the extra effort and care. When we requested dalcha, he went out of his way to prepare it specially for us. That level of hospitality and dedication is rare. I literally called from Melbourne and drove to Geelong just to have this biryani, and it was 100% worth it. Hands down the most beautiful biryani I’ve had in Australia. It genuinely reminded me of home. These guys truly deserve applause for maintaining such authenticity and passion. Highly recommended! ”

“ Surprisingly hidden in a quiet little area. Delightful Service and the food was particularly good. I tried a few dishes that I have not eaten before and I was very happy with all the flavours I came here for lunch but I look forward to coming back for the evening buffet with friends. I would be very happy to recommend this as a great place to eat. ”
